Door Closed To a Small School

A small public school (Edward Bell School) was closed this year by the Tallapoosa County Board of Education. The school was closed at the start of the school year. The Board of Education said for the reason why the school is being closed is because it’s just not any money to keep it opened.
The Tallapoosa County Board is has revoted to close Edward Bell School. It was still the same vote 3 to 1 but one vote was ousted. It is really a hard thing from many people the communities have said. A school with under 180 students shouldn’t be closed but when you look at the money that maybe will come in next year they might have no other choice but to close.
While people are getting upset about the time kids will be getting home and getting up in the morning, I don’t understand why one jump into Superintendent Baker’s face, 3 percent proration set by Governor Robert Bentley, according to Baker, closing Edward Bell saves $400,000, off setting nearly all of the loss. Shouldn’t you be worrying about the child Education instead of the school closing? Instead of a parent or an adult trying to say that when the children go to the other school they going to drop out that’s not what they should do.
When it comes down to Education you should be pressing the child to do something and don’t let nobody tell them that they can do and can’t do to learn and do your work and do something in life. After the vote it just didn’t stop the children from learning they kept doing and pushing people have said that it wouldn’t to go somewhere different it would be a really good. I feel sorry when people all over the county in the school system losing their jobs the ones who has a family to take care of its hard for everybody not just one somebody but everybody.
All counties in the state of Alabama are going through the same thing with having to close a school or letting people go it’s just not any money to keep anything opened. Times are hard everybody will say. And yes it is because even teenagers can’t even find a job. People are always debating on closing a school or keeping it opened.
